2.    Taking Responsibility

Financial responsibility is an important asset to any individual. If you want to get a loan from anyone – even a relative – they expect to be paid back, so they will want to know how responsible you are. If you are applying for a job, one criterion may be how savvy you are with your own finances. Your employer may think this is an indicator of how responsible you’ll be in other areas.

Use the exercise below to form a list of ways to show financial responsibility. Try to think of some ideas that are not on the list.
