$600,000 to help Colorado students achieve their college dreams
These $2,500 scholarships are offered to help Colorado students access and complete higher education. The scholarship will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, with the first 250 eligible students receiving the scholarship to use toward their 2010-2011 higher education expenses.
Qualifications:
- Attend a non-profit Colorado college or university full-time for the 2010-11 school year (see list of eligible colleges below).
- Complete the 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov.
- Qualify for the Federal Pell Grant. Pell eligibility is based on your level of financial need determined by the results of your FAFSA. You will be notified of Pell eligibility on your confirmation page after you complete the FAFSA as well as on your Student Aid Report (SAR), which is the results of the FAFSA.
- Complete The Scholarship application, including submitting your Student Aid Report (SAR) to verify your Expected Family Contribution (EFC). You will receive your SAR electronically within 3-5 days or via mail within 2 weeks of completing your FAFSA. View a sample SAR.
- The first 250 qualified applicants will be awarded The Scholarship. We will retain a pool of runners-up who will receive The Scholarship if any of the original recipients do not fulfill the qualifications.
- Final eligibility will be determined by your college or university in partnership with CollegeInvest.
